BSc (Hons), MRICS
I started out with a building contractor after completing my degree, and after 4 years in private practice in the Arabian Gulf I spent 18 years with a major building cost consultancy practice based in Central London before joining Wicksteeds in 2007.
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for almost 30 years I have experience of most building types for private, public and commercial clients using major types of contracts and a range of procurement methods.
A client-orientated approach is fundamental to a successful project outcome, along with an open, enquiring, honest and enthusiastic attitude in putting good experience to use in collaborating with clients, stakeholders, designers and contractors, to identify, plan and manage project values, costs and risk to achieve the ideal client outcome.

Simon Davis
BSc (Hons), FRICS
Having graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham with a degree in Building Economics and Measurement, I joined Wicksteeds in 1980 and became chartered in 1985.
Over the ensuing years, I have gained experience in the commercial, industrial, retail, education, residential and IT sectors, initially in Central London but more recently across the UK and Ireland.
I believe that the financial success of a project emanates from the production of robust budgets and tender documents; my structured approach and attention to detail allows me to offer tight cost control throughout the works.
I have experience of working with several large organisations, for whom meeting deadlines, working as part of the team, responding to their corporate-specific requirements and having the flexibility to adapt to bespoke forms of reporting has resulted in many years of repeat business.

BSc(Hons), MRICS, MAPM, RFaPS
I embarked on my construction industry career in the 1980s as a Building Surveyor specialising in extending and refurbishing large residential properties before moving on to Project Manage refurbishment and maintenance of larger commercial and retail properties. Since 1996 I have also specialised in CDM Co-ordination and Construction Health & Safety undertaking a wide portfolio of projects.
I approach construction health & safety and CDM with the same proactive approach required within Project Management which has enabled me to incorporate Workplace Health & Safety audits.
