The role of CDM Co-ordinator is a position created by The Construction
(Design & Management) Regulations 2007.

The CDM Regulations 2007 require a client to appoint a CDM Co-ordinator where a project is notifiable to HSE.

We offer a practical, common sense approach to the CDM Regulations which assists compliance, with the minimum of bureaucracy.

Designer & Contractor competance	›	Giving advice to Client on designer's competence and adequacy of procedures for dealing with health and safety in their designs

Project notification	›	Notifying the Health & Safety Executive at the commencement of the design period and issuing any necessary subsequent revisions

Designer liaison	›	Liaising with all designers to ensure co-operation and co-ordination in the exchange of health and safety information

Designer compliance	›	Ensuring as far as reasonably practicable that designers comply with their duties

Pre-Construction Information	›	Assembling information from Client and all designers for inclusion in the Pre-construction Information Document

Construction Phase Plan	›	Giving advice to Client on the adequacy of the Principal Contractor’s Construction Phase Plan.

Designer liaison construction phase	›	Liaising with all designers and Principal Contractor as necessary during the course of the works where design continues into the construction phase

Health & Safety File	›	Agreeing a suitable format and assembling information for the Health & Safety File, assembling and delivering to Client
